(More customer reviews)Actually a low-priced yet extremely efficient alternative to replacing an expensive Blackberry phone when the phone's charging port no long works! This is my second Blackberry 8830 through Cellular South since 2008, yet I was told that my warranty expired after it was replaced in May and that my expensive phone insurance ($4.95/month plus tax) did not cover the charging port. Where did that leave me? Out of over $500 for two USELESS Blackberry 8830 phones because they would not charge. After much frustration, I decided to fight back. I decided to log into my AMAZON account and search exclusively for an external battery charger. LOOK WHAT I FOUND! It arrived today (quite speedily) and I now have two fully charged batteries. My previously "worthless" phones that I was told by Cellular South that I HAD to replace are now working because the only problem is the obviously INFERIOR charging port. After doing lots of online searching, I found that I am not the only one with the problem. I am not finished with my cellular phone company however and do plan to take this matter to a higher level.
Enough about them, this REVIEW IS TO LET THE WORLD KNOW THAT THIS EXTERNAL BATTERY CHARGER WORKS, IT IS INEXPENSIVELY PRICED, PLUS IT INCLUDES THE CHARGER JUST IN CASE I NEED AN EXTRA ONE ONCE I HAVE A BLACKBERRY THAT CHARGES.
