(More customer reviews)I'm in my car quite a bit. I own a Droid Incredible and also an iPod touch. I was sitting at home a few days ago (probably months or years ago depending on when you read this) and thought came over me,"Why can't I charge both of these with my car charger?" Well, at the end of the day, I threw down my 8 bucks for this little thing. And it was worth it. With the help of the Scosche sleekSYNC Retractable USB 2.0 cable for iPod and iPhone (Black) I can successfully charge my phone and iPod while making phone calls and listening to music.
Now since it's only $8 (from $30!), it's going to get some heat. I question this little guy's power whether I have either or both plugged up for an extended time. It doesn't necessarily charge your phone only it keeps it from losing battery life, if that makes sense. I left my apartment one day with half my battery, drove 6 hours, unplugged, and it still wasn't fully charged. Same thing with the iPod. Doesn't die. Charges VERRRRY slowly. The second thing is the retractable cord. It's an awesome feature and a major selling point of this piece of equipment. You simply pull the cord, plug in your phone and push the button on top to retract when you're done. If you buy this, I caution you to be careful with that button! The cord retracts in 0.000000001 seconds (exaggeration mine) and it will give your hand a love tap or a surprise welt, whatever you call it.. Here's a simple solution: HOLD THE PLUG with your FREE hand to provide resistance. This will prevent you from hurting yourself and then blaming the cord. I hope you found this helpful...
