(More customer reviews)The old saying is, be careful of what you pay for.. Sure its cheap in price and all, but to an average customer who may not realize the difference until something happens.
A friend of mine had purchased this and i borrowed it at the office. I notice the charge was much slower than the OEM charger, after further investigation, I also noticed that it damaged my battery, after going back to oem.. my battery didnt hold as long of a charge. Ive been a long time user of all BB devices, and im sure just like you, you notice when something is difference especially when yuo use it like me 24/7 ..
After calling RIM, they confirmed that some generic chargers are so poorly made and that even simple thing like a charger can damage the phone. They advised to either purchase oem or at least some brands that are reputable
"High Quality Home AC " isnt exactly a reputable brand, and it makes sense.. these are the same cheap products you find in many dealers who give it away, because it cost them pennies, they sell on a quantity basis for profits
Stay away !! If you can spend hundres for for a bb device, a $25 oem charger is worth it !
