The wall plug has a really short cord - 3 feet 8 inches - sounds like a lot, but try plugging it in and then sitting in your favorite chair, or lay in bed and use it. Only good thing I can say about the short cord is that is is mentioned as a travel charge cord, so if you want another charger that does more than sit next to a plug and charge this is not for you.
The cord on the car adaptor is also very short. Although coiled, I could barely get it to reach from the lighter socket to my ear (but, maybe that's what Speaker phone is for - oh, on second throught using the speaker phone in a car is not something the G1 excels at). Again, if all you want to do is plug it in and lay it on the car floor to charge this does do that.
Did I say the leather case was nice? That's the only reason it got 3 stars instead of 1.
